Attorney Verona Swanigan is licensed to practice law in Arkansas, Texas, Nevada, California, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Additionally, she is licensed in federal court in the Eastern District of California and the Eastern District of Wisconsin, and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Attorney Swanigan was the first African-American woman to run for Milwaukee County District Attorney in 2016. She has also drafted and negotiated multi-million dollar land contracts, sponsorship agreements and purchase contracts. Attorney Swanigan was a law clerk in Cook County for Judge McNamara in the major commercial litigation court, where she drafted opinions utilizing the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, UCC, and other contract legislation.
